ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
The CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam in India, designed to assess candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate programs across participating universities. Introduced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in 2022, CUET serves as a single entrance exam for multiple central universities and other institutions, aiming to streamline the admission process.
- For appearing in the CUET (UG) - 2025, there is no upper age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET (UG) – 2025 examination.
- Applicants need to be aware that the eligibility requirements for CUET. That might vary based on the institutions and courses. Any candidate not adhering to the eligibility criteria might be disqualified in the later stages.
- Some universities or programs may set minimum marks in the 12th exam, but CUET itself doesn't specify a minimum required percentage. However, individual institutions may have their own additional criteria.
- CUET is primarily for Indian nationals, but some foreign candidates may also be eligible based on the rules of participating universities.
- There are generally no restrictions on the number of attempts a candidate can make to appear for CUET, as long as they meet the age and educational qualifications at the time of the exam.
