CUET Syllabus
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) syllabus is designed to assess a student's understanding of subjects studied in Class 12.
CUET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to various undergraduate programs across Central, State, and some private universities in India.
The CUET exam is divided into three sections:
- Section I (Language)
- Section II (Domain-Specific Subjects)
- Section III (General Test)
Detailed CUET Syllabus
1. Section I: Language
It is advisable to choose one language from the list. The syllabus for the Language section focuses on:
- Reading Comprehension: Passages (Factual, Literary, and Narrative)
- Grammar & Vocabulary: Fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
2. Section II: Domain-Specific Subjects
This section allows students to select subjects from a list of 27 domain-specific subjects. The syllabus is based on the NCERT curriculum of Class 12

3. Section III: General Test
This section tests the general knowledge, reasoning, and analytical skills of the candidate. Topics include:
- General Knowledge: Current Affairs, General Awareness
- Logical Reasoning: Critical thinking, Verbal reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude: Basic Mathematics (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics)
- Numerical Ability: Simplifications, Data Interpretation
